Is it possible that dietary path effects what you will get? Because I"m a boozetefarian, and I've gotten the eggnog both days. Has anyone else noticed a correlation to their path? [[User:Exhibit A|Exhibit A]] 12:01, 2 December 2007 (CST)

Odds are you've just been lucky. But I haven't played a pathed Crimbo, so I wouldn't know. However, there are three food items (candy cane, bugbear, fruitcake), and only one Booze (eggnog), meaning it'd be unbalanced that way. And what about Oxys? --[[User:Wildfire393|Wildfire393]] 12:20, 2 December 2007 (CST)

Is it just me, or does it seem EXTREMELY suspicious that all the item descriptions, as well as the news message, are trying to say that nothing out of the ordinary is going on? I mean, I'm glad, as the "newness" of the untainted eggnog/perfectly innocuous gingerbread bugbear/etc means that they're a different item to collectors, and thus we get no repeats, but still...something just doesn't seem right about this. More will come, bad things, mark my words...but then again, maybe I'm paranoid {/rant} --Jimfromtx 22:48, 30 November 2007 (CST)

i believe it may be refferencing the radio show LoveLine where if a caller was obviously really screwed up, the hosts would sarcasticlly say "Perfectly normal, perfectly healthy", which is appropriatly enough also on the main announcment. though i'm really not sure if this is a loveline original or not. so yeah. I have to agree with Jimfromtx, when I got the "perfectly innocuous gingerbread bugbear" it worried me. Maybe I'm paranoid, but maybe you should be too, considering the general themes of KOL, and Jick's sense of humor. The phrase 'perfectly innocuous' in an items description is a Red Flag to me, of the 'seal it in lead and sink it in a trough of holy water' variety. Well, we shall see. After all, Linea was particularly active back at Halloween... --Tiwaz 20:15, 1 December 2007 (CST)

Be warned, my brothers and sisters--the Not-Too-Distant-Future is at hand! It is futile to resist... we will be merry... This message brought to you by Uncle Bob's Discount Doomsday Hobo Rant Emporium. --Whod99 21:14, 1 December 2007

Given the existence of the Crimbo P.R.E.S.S.I.E. I find myself forced to agree with this one. --Sparksol 22:19, 1 December 2007 (CST)

The question is however. even if you know something bad will happen. will you still eat/drink the items? or hold out?--Blood panther 22:49, 1 December 2007 (CST)

I think that there is more evidence something's wrong: Despite the calendar/town pattern, NO CRIMBO TOWN. Something fishy is DEFINITELY happening, there is no question. Probably some diabolical mind-control plot. --MrGuy 09:24, 2 December 2007 (CST)

IMO, it seems fairly obvious that there is a hidden meaning; perhaps a hidden effect when wearing a special Crimbo outfit/peice of equip not yet announced, or when used when you have another Crimbo effect active, or maybe after you do some quest. --Wavedash 11:00, 2 December 2007 (CST)
