Yeah I uh, added the duct tape sword and made a page for it. Anyone has a problem with that, send a pm/kmail to me in game. - 1:39AM EST July 2nd, 2007 --Xsmootx 00:39, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

References
Is the idea that "duct" tape drops from the ducks a reference, as when people say "duct tape" it can be heard as "duck tape?" Hence..."Duck" tape dropping from the ducks...Get it? Okay, good. Because I repeated myself like 3 times. *laughs* --Zedarius 00:43, 16 July 2007 (CDT)
- one of the most popular brands is "duck" tape, too, and the etymology would suggest that "duct" is a corruption of "duck" anyway. oh well. --Evilkolbot 01:17, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Drop Rates based on something else?
I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like the drop rate on the Duct Tape is a little strange... When I helped clear the farm the first time, almost every duck dropped duct tape. After I finished the War Quest, when you could adventure at the farm like 10 times a day, I never got any duct tape until this last weekend (7/21, 7/22), when every duck dropped duct tape. Now, Monday, 7/23, none of them drop the duct tape again... I wonder if there is some connection between the drop rate and the moon or the calender days, or something... anyone see a similar pattern? --SeiferTim 11:34, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
- i'd have to agree that the drop rate on duct tape is very low, and possibly limited in the same way as say penguin scrolls, but i think your experience so far is just rng love. bumping drop rates i was getting 2/day before, but now, nothing. keep spading, perhaps i'm wrong and there is more to it. good luck. --Evilkolbot 11:56, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
- Are you using Jekyllin hide belts to farm them? --sl1me 12:46, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
