Tried at every level from 1 to 9 on day 1 of my run - same "soul is too young" message.  Will try level 9 again on day 2. --[[User:Aramada|Aramada]] 19 October 2020
Tried at every level from 1 to 9 on day 1 of my run - same "soul is too young" message.  Last try was Level 9, 124 turns spent.
On day 2, (Level 9, 124 turns spent), it was the first thing I tried, and it worked.  Looks like it can't be used on day 1 of a run.   --[[User:Aramada|Aramada]] 21 October 2020

I'm assuming that this is not consumed on use, even on a victory. But a bit of conformation might be nice.--Tombot (talk) 11:34, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

  • used mine today, won, still have it. --Evilkolbot (talk) 19:39, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

I attempted to use this on the first turn of a casual ascension and got the following message:

"You sit down at the chessboard, but nothing happens. Perhaps your soul is too young to be of interest to your opponent."

Maybe there's a minimum number of turns/minimum level requirement? --King Dave (talk) 12:29, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
