Tried at every level from 1 to 9 on day 1 of my run - same "soul is too young" message. Last try was Level 9, 124 turns spent. | Tried at every level from 1 to 9 on day 1 of my run - same "soul is too young" message. Last try was Level 9, 124 turns spent. | ||
On day 2, (Level 9, 124 turns spent), it was the first thing I tried, and it worked. Looks like it can't be used on day 1 of a run. --Aramada 21 October 2020 | On day 2, (Level 9, 124 turns spent), it was the first thing I tried, and it worked. Is there any spading on the frequency of win/loss or if anything affects this? I'm on day 13 of a casual run days 1-6 were almost 50/50 for win/loss. Days 7-13 have all been a string of losses. --Rick Tyger (talk) 19:44, 11 December 2021 (UTC) |

I attempted to use this on the first turn of a casual ascension and got the following message:
"You sit down at the chessboard, but nothing happens. Perhaps your soul is too young to be of interest to your opponent."
Maybe there's a minimum number of turns/minimum level requirement? --King Dave (talk) 12:29, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
- Remember to try each level to see what the cut-off point is. It may or may not also be a ronin thing.--Tombot (talk) 20:45, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
