Yes, that's exactly what it was. I didn't even realize there were two different items until that day, when my two fruit bowls dropped absolutely zero TPS fruits. (If you want to take the stats from the aborted wiki edit, they're valid numbers for the fruit bowl. Terribly small sample size, though.) --Greycat 16:57, 29 July 2006 (CDT) | Yes, that's exactly what it was. ==Cost Analysis of Restoring HP and MP==
Hmmm, interesting tables. A few comments:
1) You say that MMJ at level 7 is 6.67 meat per MP, however, I show in my table at the top of the page that it actually averages 6.452 meat per MP.
2) What information do these tables give us other than the fact that Lasagna Bandages are better than Tongue of the Walrus with anything between a -1 and -3 MP modifier?
3) Along the lines of (2), you also say:
"The last resort is soda water, available to everyone at any time. Note that when your only source of MP is soda water, it may be cheaper to heal yourself using Doc Galaktik's medicines instead of skills (depending on the skill and the -MP modifier)."
This is only true of Disco Nap and Tongue of the Otter with a -0 MP modifier, and Tongue of the Otter with a -1 MP modifier. If this and (2) are the major new pieces of information being conveyed by these tables, would it be better to just state them in prose? I do appreciate the work you did compiling that information, but it seems like it just clutters the page with a lot of data, most of which is very similar to what is already stated earlier on the page. Would it be better to get rid of all of them and just add a couple paragraphs stating your findings? Part of the problem as I see it is the difficulty in presenting tabular data of MMJ and Cannelloni Cocoon. They just act so differently at different levels that trying to compress them down into a "baseline" does more harm than good.
I definitely think your findings should go into this page, I'm just wondering if there is a better way to state them. -- Turias 16:43, 13 September 2006 (CDT) |

I noticed you added a comment and then removed it, claiming it to be a mistake. What was the mistake? Fruit bowl (whose drops probably need to be confirmed) instead of basket? --Quietust 11:19, 28 July 2006 (CDT)
