You read the comic book, which turns out to be issue #45 of Tales Of The Orphanman. It's the issue that started the big "Cornflower Orphan" plotline, where the hero has a run-in with Extraordinary Shane and then she brutally murders him by hitting him on the head with a big mallet, causing amnesia, causing spectacular amounts of property damage.
