Most of the holidays celebrated in the Kingdom of Loathing follow the KoL Calendar. Among the most popular are:
- During Valentine's Day (Frankuary 4), friends, lovers, and enemies can send each other cards with funny messages and kitschy illustrations.
- On St. Sneaky Pete's Day (Starch 3), drunken revelry is the norm for all but the most teetotaling citizen.
- On Oyster Egg Day (April 2), the Enchanted Flying Oyster comes and hides magical eggs all over the kingdom. Those with baskets can collect them.
- Every Halloween (Porktober 8), residents dress up and collect candy from their neighbors.
