Time Travel is a feature of the Kingdom which first occurred after the accidental incidents of White Wednesday. In order to time travel, adventurers must locate a Temporal Rift, and simply leap through it. This does not take any adventures.
Five rifts were created in total, one in the Nearby Plains, one over Mt. McLargeHuge, one in the Distant Woods, one on the Mysterious Island of Mystery, and finally the Council ripped their own. The appearance of these rifts was accompanied by shockwaves, which caused all sorts of strange things to happen. An uncompleted cannon appeared at the foot of Seaside Town, the Penguin Mafia managed to escape to the present, and a rift inside Hagnk's Ancestral Mini-Storage linked the building to a time when everything was on fire. All the rifts have recently closed up, except for the one in the Nearby Plains. However, it only appears to adventurers of Level 4 or 5.
By travelling back in time at the Nearby Plains, you can see how things were in the distant past, such as visiting Susie the Arena Mistress when she was a child, The Misspelled Cemetary when it wasn't so misspelled or even the Perfectly Ordinary Pickle Factory. All of these locations have no real purpose or gain, except for the The Cola Wars Battlefield, where rare and useful items such as Dyspepsi-Cola and Cloaca-Cola equipment and grenades. However, there were many casualties, including the appearance of a mysterious illness...
