cluster of angry bacteria You're fighting a cluster of angry bacteria

You remember encountering a little cluster of bacteria -- they were so angry, for some reason. Probably because they were unpopular -- nobody likes getting sick, after all.

You remember then advancing on you with menace in what would've been their eyes if they had eyes. You can almost see those things that would've been eyes now... In fact, as the memory becomes more and more real, you can see them. It's... unsettling. You prepare for a fight.

Hit Message(s):

One crawls into your <arm>, and another crawls into your <arm>. They give each other a high five, which hurts you quite a bit. Argh!

One of them coughs on you. The tables are turned! Ugh!

Three of the bacteria throw another one of them at your <arm>. It really hurts. Oof!

Critical Hit Message:

They mutate slightly, sending a wave of causality down the time stream that causes you to cough up a bunch of blood. Dang! Oof! Eek!

Miss Message(s):

One tries to crawl into your <arm>, but you whirl around and it bounces off of your <arm>.

One of them tries to hit you, but your immune system is too strong.

They form into a tiny bacteria pyramid (a bactyramid?) so as to more easily attack you, but it collapses under its own weight.

Fumble Message:

They mutate slighly, sending a wave of causality down the time stream that causes you to be a little bit less afraid of clowns. Just a little bit, though. Not enough so you'd notice. (FUMBLE!)

After Combat
You acquire an item: memory of an A (20% chance)*
You acquire an item: memory of a G (20% chance)*
You gain some <substat>.

Occurs at The Primordial Soup.

Notes

  • This monster counts as a group (of size six). It takes manifold damage from area-of-effect skills such as Wave of Sauce.
