• Scrapple is a meat patty from the Pennsylvania area consisting of various pork parts. It is composed of all the bits of a pig that can’t be used otherwise. Recipes vary, but common ingredients include heart, liver, brain, tongue and skin. It’s usually served with breakfast. Despite the picture, it does not look like sausage, and is actually quite tasty (and certainly no more disgusting than the average hot dog).
