Talk:A Pile of Old Servers
Miss messages: It lunges toward you, but gets tangled up in the rat's nest of cables attached to the back of it. Some of them come unplugged. That's probably okay, though.
It moves toward you as if to attack, but freezes in place. You hear a loud grinding noise as its many hard drives do... something.
It moves as though to attack you, but the only thing that happens is that several of the lights on the front of it turn from green to orange.
It starts to move toward you, but there's a loud popping noise followed by a wisp of smoke as something goes terribly wrong inside its power supply.
You're afraid it's going to attack you, but all that happens is that the tray of its optical drive slides out and then back in. A spider must've walked over the button. Twice.
It starts to attack you, but the internal request times out after 60 seconds. Somewhere in the distance, somebody's pager goes off. --Steam 09:07, 29 June 2011 (CEST)
Over 10 combats, it didn't hit me once. I have a moxie of 86. I don't think it can attack (which makes sense, it's a server) --Steam 09:09, 29 June 2011 (CEST)

Start fight: antique database server
You're fighting an antique database server
You approach the pile of servers and come face to face with this massive hulk of a machine. Its lights blink erratically, it's making funny noises, and the air around it is filled with an almost unbearable heat. You'd feel sorry for it, if it wasn't also crawling with spiders. --BuZZ-T 15:09, 29 June 2011 (CEST)
Clover Adventures
Spent twenty adventures there with a ten leaf clover, nothing special happened. Whoever is good with wiki editing can tick that off the list of unknown information here. --Hughdo 23:51, 29 June 2011 (CEST)
- All taken care of, thanks for the spading! --Wrldwzrd89 23:59, 29 June 2011 (CEST)
- note that the total HP is listed as 300, but it must scale with ML -- at level 6 (SC), it was still alive after 340 damage, and died after another 105... -acm 22:00, 29 June 2011 (EST)
Semi-rare Adventure
Strangely enough, no semi rare :)--Modran 08:53, 30 June 2011 (CEST)
Acctualy, there is - I just encountered a Penguin while adventuring there, but I didn't get any other details. It was using the Mob Penguin Thug art --Duckpuppy 15:49, 30 June 2011 (CEST)
- Was it perhaps this penguin? --Fig bucket 15:56, 30 June 2011 (CEST)
- Yes. Yes it was. I was just coming back here to delete this comment, since I've just discovered I'm apparently still an idiot before 10am. --Duckpuppy 16:05, 30 June 2011 (CEST)
- Never mind. We've all had moments like that. --Kay Dekker 19:47, 30 June 2011 (CEST)
Turtle Pheromones
Just tried it, no turtle adventure. --Zaranthan 18:16, 1 July 2011 (CEST)
Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot
It is possible to get the server's meat pouch using the NPZR. --Blakwido 20:30, 1 July 2011 (CEST)
- I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, since the NPZR will generate meat when fighting non-meat dropping enemies, but let's give it a shot... "You hear a faint howling of wind, and Korudo Furonto Uiki-sama suddenly appears out of the shadows, holding your opponent's meat pouch. You gain 143 Meat." So, yes. --Johnny Treehugger 23:02, 1 July 2011 (CEST)
a POS
Didn't see anyone else comment on this abbreviation for the zone, more commonly used as "piece of shit", but it seems possible the name was intentional for this. Kind of a stretch, I know, but with the problems the old machines gave the staff recently... just thought I'd mention it here. --timrem 03:01, 3 July 2011 (CEST)
