Talk:Evil eye
From A KoL Wiki
Unlike most quest items, evil eyes are pickpocketable.--maharito 05:07, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, many quest items are pickpocketable. BUT, until recently conditional drops were not -- and these are conditional. --Starwed 07:08, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- Not that I don't believe you, but what's the evidence that this is a conditional drop? Yellow ray does not work? --Club (#66669) (Talk) 05:13, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- Originally that I couldn't find any post-quest in the cemetery. I did double-check with a pumpkin bomb, and still saw none. --Starwed 05:35, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- So I'm back in the Cyrpt in my next ascension, and for kicks I yellow-rayed a spiny skelelton and had the eye drop. Yes, this still could be a very special conditional drop, but I think more likely is two versions of the monsters, one in the cyrpt with these drops and one in the post-cyrpt cemetary that doesn't. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:44, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- It could also very well be possible that the eye dropped naturally along with the other conditionals when you rayed it. Has anyone rayed a crypt monster during the quest and *not* seen the eye drop? That would be a definitive answer.--Erich 18:53, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Does anybody know what happens when you try to use these to lower the evil below zero (reduce evil in nook to 25-27, then use 9+ in a row, etc)? --Puppy528 07:44, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- Normally, when you reduce the evil to 0, it spikes up to 999, to indicate that the bonerdagon has arrived. I'll use my evil eyes when I next reach 999 to see if it changes the evil any (I won't however, spade the natural corollary -- whether it changes the bonerdagon's difficulty, which I highly doubt).--Hastifer 14:19, 21 July 2011 (CEST)
- Oh, I think I finally understood what you meant. No that doesn't work. If you use the eyes to reduce the zone to 0, you don't get to skip the zone's boss. I tried that in a previous ascension.--Hastifer 14:22, 21 July 2011 (CEST)
