| You open the order form and read it:
Only those who can form and fiercely defend strong and arbitrary loyalties are welcome to patronize Banfoy's Boutique. Therefore, you must choose one, and only one of the following positions, and be prepared to argue the superiority of your choice to anyone who will listen, and most people who won't. Choice 1: I prefer wholesome heroes rooted in a mythic bygone golden age. These paragons of virtue can have entertaining and interesting adventures without a boatload of angst, and their larger-than-life exploits allow the reader escape from real-life problems. Y'know, like, I don't want to read a story about how Dynamic Boy's mom wants him to move out and get a real job. Choice 2: I prefer my heroes with the complexity and depth lent them by struggling with real-world relationship and personal problems. What is the point in having superpowers if you can't be moody and conflicted about them? Those older comic books are for kids; I want my stories about planet-eating guys in purple hats to be for grown-ups. |
Notes
- This item will appear in your inventory after being redeemed using the chat interface. Enter the redemption code for your item by typing the following into the chat input field:
/redeem <XXX>
where <XXX> represents an alphanumeric code located on the card you received while visiting the Asymmetric Publications personnel at their booth at Comic-Con 2011. After a working code is entered, the following message will be printed in chat:
Code <XXXX-XXXX-XXXX> accepted. Your ? are waiting in your inventory. - Attempting to redeem a code which has already been used by someone else results in the message "Code already used."
- Attempting to redeem more than one valid code from the same account results in the message "You've already redeemed one of those."
- Attempting to redeem an invalid code results in the message "Invalid code."
- Attempting to redeem too many codes in a short period of time results in the message "Not so fast."
- Choosing Choice 1 will consume the Order Form and grant you the Great S-Cape
- Choosing Choice 2 will consume the Order Form and grant you the Marvelous Unitard
