This is a small wooden barrel filled with gunpowder -- one of the ones the crazy pyro at the lighthouse lost. If you were ever lost in the mountains and didn't have enough gunpowder, you'd probably be pretty happy to see one of these strapped to the neck of a St. Bernard. But if you noticed it had a lit fuse attached to it, you'd get a lot less happy in a big hurry.
