You're fighting beebee gunnersMilitary bees frequently team up in pairs for extra effectiveness. Because bees are, generally speaking, not very imaginative, this small squad is referred to as a "beebee".
This particular beebee has acquired a rifle from somewhere, and is preparing to shoot your eye out.
