You've got the fever for the flavor of projectile pain. This skill makes you do significantly more damage with a crossbow.

+1 damage per player level when using a crossbow.

Notes

On May 24, 2006, the description of this skill was changed from "This skill makes you significantly less likely to miss when firing a crossbow." to what it is now.
Until then, when a player was attacking with a crossbow and had this skill, the following message was given:

"You do not aim with your hand. He who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of Sneaky Pete. You aim with your Moxie."

If you are using Double-Fisted Skull Smashing to wield two crossbows, it only applies to your Main Hand crossbow.

The skill "Crossbow Fever" may be a reference to the 1978 film "Disco Fever", which is appropriate for a Disco Bandit.
The description refers to the 80's ad campaign for Pringles, whose slogan was "I've got the fever for the flavor of a Pringles".
The former message was a reference to "The Gunslinger's Catechism" from Stephen King's Dark Tower series:

I do not aim with my hand.

I aim with my Eye.

I do not shoot with my hand.

He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.

I shoot with my Mind.
