This quill pen looks as though it's seen better days. Or maybe it just came from a really crappy bird. Either way, if you've got something to write with this, it should probably be something short.

When Used
- Used without inkwell in your inventory (with or without tattered scrap of paper) :
- You pick up the pen, and it floats out of your hand of its own accord. It wiggles around in the air for a while, but it can't find anything to dip into, so it just floats back into your sack.
- When you use multiple quills without enough tattered scrap of papers in your inventory to consume all the quills:
- You throw X quill pens into the air, they float around for a few seconds, and dart back into your sack.
- Used with inkwell but without tattered scrap of paper in your inventory:
- You pick up the pen, and it immediately dips itself into your inkwell, completely draining it. Filled to capacity, it floats around for a bit looking for something to write on, but to no avail. It dumps the ink back in the inkwell and floats gently back into your sack.
- Used with inkwell and tattered scrap of paper in your inventory:

| You pick up the pen, and it immediately dips itself into your inkwell, completely draining it. Filled to capacity, it immediately floats toward a tattered scrap of paper in your sack, and begins scrawling arcane symbols on it.
Exhausted, the pen falls to the floor, where it disintegrates into dust. Well, dust covered with ink. More like mud than dust, I guess. | ||
