Notes
- Has a "decipher" link, rather than "use".
- Not consumed on use.
- Gathering additional scraps gradually reveals more and more words, until all of the words can be seen when you have 11 scraps.
- Solving the associated puzzle yields the Ultimate Cosmic Power trophy.
- Was not initially implemented when the Corked genie bottle entered Mr. Store, and gave the following message when used:
![]() |
Try again later. (CDM is very sorry about this.) |
- Each message contains some boilerplate ("Quoth Dunyazad, "O brother mine, an thou be other than sleepy, do tell us some of thy pleasant tales," whereupon Shahrazad replied, "With love and good will."–It hath reached me, O Master of my Bottle, that"), followed by information which tells you to look in the third supplemental volume of the 1887 Edition of the Burton Translation of The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night on Project Gutenberg (available at https://www.gutenberg.org/files/3447/3447-0.txt ). Starting with the paragraph for the given night, count up to the given character ("moment") starting with 0, and it will yield an English word, which is the trophy word.
- Ezandora wrote a genie puzzle solver, which makes solving the puzzle much, much simpler, and is located here http://noblesse-oblige.org/ezandora/genie/index.html
