First Mate's Log Entry Three: The Revenge
The dark rivalry between the yeomen and the crewmen took a turn for the sour today, when crewman Crowe found the wine in his wineskin had been replaced with squid ink. Yeoman Carrey laughed the loudest and longest at crewman Crowe's sour face. But Yeoman Carrey laughed no longer when his bed was doused with itching powder, a dangerous state of affairs for a man with a hook for a hand.

The ocean roiled and bubbled beneath the ship, and a small island of foam floated to the top. The crew could see strange trees growing on the island's shore, so the Captain sent a party to investigate. They returned bearing some of the magical foam, reporting that the "trees" were actually sticks of colored wax known as "Crayons." The crew harvested several of them and brought them aboard.
