Notes
The effect you get from a grisly shell fragment will always have a duration of 1 adventure, even if you have a lower stage effect for a duration of multiple adventures. (eg. If you obtain 5 adventures of Thicker, Sicker through the ittah bittah hookah, using a grisly shell fragment will get the effect Thickest, Sickest for a duration of merely 1 adventure rather than 5 adventures.)
