• The Dungeons and Dragons system includes many other forms of golem, including the "flesh golem", which resembles Frankenstein's monster.
• The term "Will most likely do your bidding" is also a reference to Dungeons and Dragons, where Golems have a chance to defy their masters, most likely killing them.
