Mt. Noob in the Big Mountains is the place where new players are given a wonderful tutorial, instructed by the Toot Oriole.

The Toot Oriole sets you a series of tasks for which he rewards you with useful items. When you have completed your training, the Toot Oriole won't be able to help you any longer on your quest: The Toot Oriole looks at you gravely. "There is no more I can do for you." |
After completing the tutorial, you have the option to complete it again:
If you want to replay the new Toot Oriole content, you can click the link below to reset your tutorial flag. Please note that the Toot Oriole now takes 15 or 20 adventures to complete, and that you won't be able to adventure anywhere else until you're done with it.
You don't have to complete the tutorial again post-Ascension. Instead, Toot Oriole will give you a letter from King Ralph XI, which contains some new tattoos and a jewelrymaking component:
"Welcome back, $name... er... welcome, Adventurer!" says the Toot Oriole with a gleam in his eye.
"How did you..." you begin to ask, but the Oriole cuts you off.
"It looks like you're not in need of any training, but I believe I've got something someone left here for you."
The Oriole roots around in his nest and produces a letter.
