By packing a smoke grenade canister with the pollen and juice of narcotic poppies, you've created a weapon that is both powerful, and essentially harmless. Well, as long as you don't consider "potential addiction to hand grenades" harmful.
Where did you even get a smoke grenade canister? I guess I should know better than to ask.

When Used
|
| You throw the opium grenade at your opponent, and it releases a thick cloud of smoke that that gets him coughing uncontrollably, and then laughing uncontrollably. |
- Against a pair of burnouts:

| You throw the opium grenade at the pair of stoners, and after a brief moment of consternation their eyes kind of roll back in their heads, and they collapse to the ground laughing uncontrollably -- along with three or four other guys who happened to be standing nearby. |
Notes
- Immediately defeats a pair of burnouts and eliminates two additional pairs in the White Citadel Quest.
- When used against other non-hippy monsters, stuns your opponent for 2-3 rounds of combat, including the round it was used.
- Against hippies, stuns for 3-5 rounds of combat, including the round it was used.
- While in effect, each round of combat (including the first) will display the message:
He stumbles around for a bit, giggling at the funny colors. Ha ha, oh that mauve! Such a kidder.
- The last round of combat the stun is active will display the message:
He shakes his head, and glares at you with bleary bloodshot eyes. Uh-oh, looks like he's coming down.
