- "Jeorb" and the strange pronouncian given for "brains" are references to Homestar Runner, specifically Coach Z's accent and inability to say the word "job".
- The part about looking like a zombie in the light of the moon is most likely a reference to Pirates of the Caribbean and its zombie pirate crew.
