Seaside Town

Seaside Town is the heart, or maybe spleen, of the Kingdom of Loathing. The Council of Loathing presides here, and you can also find training, adventure, clans, and 24-hour shopping.

The Town is divided into several areas:

• Little Canadia (Open to Mysticality signs only)
• Wrong Side of the Tracks
• Right Side of the Tracks
• The Museum
• The Council of Loathing
• The Clan District
• Market Square
• A Yuletide Bonfire (Only on Yuletide)

History

• Former home of the Huge Cannon.
• On October 25, 2010, the The Dungeon Full Of Dungeons was combined with The Hall of The Legends of The Times of Old in The Big Mountains to make The Dungeoneers' Association. Its former location in town was reoccupied with The Dungeon Full Of Skeletons.
• On October 26, 2010, The Mall of Loathing moved to Desert Beach, just north of the border, as The Skeleton-Infested Mall of Loathing appeared.

• On October 29, 2010, the skeletons managed to completely level the previously skeleton-infested mall and dungeon.

• On October 30, 2010, the skeletons left the walls around Seaside Town in rubble, as the congregated in The Cannon Museum.
• On November 5th, the appearance of Seaside Town changed dramatically, as the walls were all torn down. Here is the version of Seaside Town that stood for roughly 6 years.

The wreckage has also been reorganized:

• • The walls and everything else destroyed by the skeletons remained gone
  • Little Canadia became a district of the town, rather than a separate area above it
  • The Right and Wrong Sides of the Track now actually include a picture of the tracks in them. Clicking on it takes you to the adjacent area.
  • The rubble is still present on the Wrong Side, but the open spaces on the Right Side are now replaced with grass (helping to visually distinguish between the two)
  • New building: The Museum, which contains all the records from The Cannon Museum (relocated to the second floor) and The Hall of Records (relocated to the first floor), the wreckage of which was last visitable in No Museum No Cry. The Knott Yeti exhibit is gone, but the Collection Collection remains. The Museum contains an elevator that switches between the Museum's three floors. The third floor is empty.
  • The Market Square tile has been changed, but the market is still filled with post-skeleton-attack rubble.
  • The coastline is now visible in the over-map of the town.
