Bashy is one of the most distinguished players in the Kingdom of Loathing. He is a member of the dev team, and the leader of the clan Noblesse Oblige He is also the most ascendingest player in the Kingdom.
Bashy was born in Prussia, and moved to the United States a few years ago. English is a second language, and his grammar tends to be incorrect and humorous. It has been referenced in two places in the game, and, unlike most players, his account reads "Bashy am proud bearer of Mr. Accessory" when one is equipped.
Pre-Ascension

Shortly after Black Sunday, Bashy earned his fame by selling Hell Ramen for 10 meat.
He is also known for the most widely-accepted theory of the mechanics of Ultra Rare drops.
Ascension Testing and Acension
Bashy helped to discover and come up with the name for the LTSynergy strategy for fast ascensions. During testing, he made sure that many monster level increasing items were added (most importantly hockey sticks of furious angry rage). (See also LTSynergy on the forums.)
Bashy as well of having tested ascension he is currently first on the normal ascension board, having ascended more than anyone in the Kingdom. He is also on top of the mysticality statlist and first in all the other post-ascension statlists.
On February 21, 2006, Bashy, Almighty Tallest, wgitc, wilder, and Mr Bill formed Team O-DAMN (One-Day Ascension Mapping and Nitpicking) to attempt a one-day ascension. Bashy was the last team member to attempt a one-day ascension, but lost to the Naughty Sorceress with one adventure left. Though Bashy and the other teammates were not able to ascend, the attempts prove it was well within the realm of possibility.
On the morning of April 10, 2006, Mr Bill completed the first single-day ascension, in 300 adventures. That afternoon, just hours later, Bashy completed the second-ever one-day ascension, in 289 adventures.

Bashy sleepless in bed on one of night, and it all just pop into head of Bashy at one time. On thinking further, Bashy pretty sure it going to work. Then, when testing, it work perfectly. It take long time to borrow enough hockey stick to fully test, though.
Bashy indeed am first person to completely imagine full LTSynergy as applying to monster level and sombrero as evidenced by being first person to switch to sombrero for speed ascend. Also, Bashy talk about whole thing on Dev forum months before public begin talking.
Hockey Stick:

Bashy no have fought Elemental. Hockey sticks of Bashy have been from trading, buying, and borrowing.
