There is a satisfying whirring noise as the cabinet spits out some tickets:

Notes
- You will obtain no fewer than 5 tickets, or 1 ticket for every 1,000 points.
- The three scanner upgrades available in the Starbase General Store are mutually exclusive (they take up the same slot) and the Upgrade score seems to disregard how many times you change that slot.
