Notes

The MP cost to summon your nth heart is (n*(n+1)/2), or 1+2+3+...+n. The total cost to summon n hearts is ((n)*(n+1)*(n+2))/6. This price resets upon rollover and ascension.
In order, the hearts cost (total price in parentheses): 1(1), 3(4), 6(10), 10(20), 15(35), 21(56), 28(84), 36(120), 45(165), 55(220), 66(286), 78(364), 91(455), 105(560), 120(680), 136(816), 153(969), 171(1140), 190(1330), 210(1540), 231(1771), 253(2024), 276(2300), 300(2600), 325(2925), 351(3276), 378(3654), 406(4060), 435(4495), and 465(4960) MP to cast, for the first 30 of the day.
This skill is marked as Hardcore Permanent (HP), and so is retained through normal and hardcore ascensions and can be used in both.
When sending candy hearts, if you try to use profanity, you receive the message, "No profanity allowed in hearts. Candy is for children, after all!"
Each candy heart's +3 bonus to all stats does stack with the other candies' +3 bonus (so when you have all 6 heart effects you will get +18 to all stats; it takes an average of 14.7 casts to get all six hearts).
Each candy heart's effect lasts 10 Adventures.

The custom message you can enter when sending candy hearts is similar to the Acme Candy Heart generator.
The increasing quantities of MP needed to summon hearts are the triangular numbers.
