With an Unconscious Collective as your familiar, you may have one of the following dreams while resting. Each of them grants you a free rest; you may receive up to 3 of them per day.

The Dreams

Dream A

You find yourself standing in a wicker basket, on the roof of a towering skyscraper. Thorny brambles cover the ground, and eerie jazz music swirls around you. King Ralph approaches you, and looks at you with burning hatred.

"The owls are not what they seem. (player name). Where is my telephone?"

"I don't understand," you reply.

"The owls are not what they seem."

You think you can hear someone crying far away as you begin to fall into darkness, and then you are in a lush grassy field, in the middle of a trackless desert wasteland. Before you, in a scintillating pool of light beside a long-lost grand piano, rests a decaying staff. As you reach out to touch it, you put it in your pocket, and carved stone faces gaze impassively at you everywhere you look. You run away in a panic as whispering voices and hushed laughter surround you, though you see no one.

And then, the scenery twists and melts around you and a bright light pierces the gloom. You wake up shivering.

Dream B

As you doze, you sense (familiar name) near you. It makes you have weird dreams.

You find yourself standing in a dimly-lit cave, deep underground. You hear waves crashing against the shore nearby, and you hear waves crashing against the shore nearby. A shining white horse approaches you, and seems to have something very important to tell you.

"Take the apple. (player name)! (player name)."

"I don't understand," you reply.

"(player name)?"

You can smell burning flesh as invisible laughter swirls around you, and then you are in a dimly-lit cave, near a comfortable-looking leather armchair. The smell of iron fills your nostrils, and suddenly a little man in a red suit stands before you. "Open the door."

"I'm sorry," you say.

"Remember my name! This is your destiny."

And then, black tentacles burst out of the ground and a flash of light blinds you. You wake up shivering.
