- This adventure is a reference to the 1996 film Werewolf (as seen on Mystery Science Theater 3000), where all the main characters seem to have incomprehensible accents, with the result that none of them are unable to pronounce "werewolf" the same way. The attack text also includes a play on the line "Oh no, Paul! You is a weerwalf!"
