- The name of this item is a play on "ouija squeegee". A ouija (often pronounced "weegee") board is a board that reportedly allows one to make contact with ghosts, while a squeegee is a tool used to wash windows.
- Hobos in many cities will wash windows with a squeegee for money, whether you ask them to or not. In Canada this type of hobo is called a squeegee kid.
