Your Mystical Bookshelf

Your Mystical Bookshelf is a furnishing located at your Campground.

When "Used"

Your campsite contains a lovely 3-shelf bookshelf -- handsome mahogany inset with mother-of-pearl mystical runes! It's got a shelf for Tomes, a shelf for Librams, and a shelf for Grimoires...
Tomes: Tomes contain powerful spells. So powerful that you can only use one Tome per day, lest you become absolutely corrupted by the absolute power.
You have a Tome of Snowcone Summoning.
Summon Snowcone (5 MP)
or
(Your bookshelf doesn't have any Tomes on it.)
Librams: Librams also contain powerful spells. Each time you use a Libram in a day, it'll take you more and more energy to use another one. Or the same one again. You'll get the idea once you start using them.
You have a Libram of Candy Heart Summoning.
Summon Candy Heart (X MP)
You have a Libram of Divine Favors.
Summon Party Favor (X MP)
or
(Your bookshelf doesn't have any Librams on it.)
Grimoires: Grimoires contain... spells. Each Grimoire may be used once per day.
You have McPhee's Grimoire of Hilarious Object Summoning.
Summon Hilarious Objects (5 MP)
or
(Your bookshelf doesn't have any Grimoires on it.)

Notes

  • The MP cost for summoning your nth Libram item is 1+(n*(n-1)/2), or 1+(1+2+3+...+(n-2)+(n-1)). This price resets upon rollover and ascension.

  • Using your first Tome/Libram/Grimoire will summon the bookshelf. If prior to January 3rd, 2008, you had Summon Snowcones, Summon Hilarious Objects and/or Summon Candy Hearts the bookshelf was grandfathered in.
  • The bookshelf is not visible while in Bad Moon. However, it is currently possible to access the bookshelf through direct linking. Originally it was possible to use the books normally this way, but this was soon fixed.
