A Gingerbread Decoy
You open the door of the house to reveal a human-sized gingerbread man... shaped thing. Behind him is an entire living room's worth of furniture, all made of gingerbread. There's even a gingerbread television with a picture painted on it in icing.
A bowl at the fake homeowner's feet contains a bunch of gingerbread bugbears. You take one and leave, confused by what you've just witnessed.
