I disagree. You're entirely missing the joke, which is that a zombie or other undead creature, or else somebody alive, was scratching at the INSIDE of the lid trying to get out. The description purposely has an erroneous and silly conclusion. .--PVA 8:09, 27 May 2006 (CDT)
I don't know if this is still under debate, but I can confirm that you can get a coffin lid at any time. I'm a level 8 Seal Clubber, and I just got the lid, so it isn't pre-quest.NoidMan 06:42, 31 May 2006 (CDT)
