We need an item drop haiku template. The item drop messages are generic, based on the syllable count. --Raijinili 11:38, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

  • This seems as good a place to say this as any, but we also need to do something for the battle template so that we can easily link to the generic combat messages in place of the hit and critical sections. --Melon 13:40, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

I'll leave these here for somebody with better wiki-fu: the only message I got from using a chefstave "You jiggle a stick and assorted things happen. Just like summer camp." Also, the Angel Hair Whisp seems to not affect stat gains here. Also also, the Moxie Point gain message "Here's some welcome news: You just gained a Moxie point! Go get 'em, tiger!"--Erishiku 14:14, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

With the Wild Hare/ the Dungeon showed this message/ about the doormouse

"Aw, that was so cute!/ I wish you had just seen what/ your buddy just did."

Someone with a Mayflower bouquet should try to see what the message is for collecting three-syllable items (half-orchid, e.g.). Not sure if there are other ways to find out, or if it's possible to get monosyllabic items to drop.--Buttons 11:11, 31 August 2008 (CDT)

Mayflower bouquet drops use the item drop messages. Robotronic egg drops use the generic Familiar messsages. --Raijinili 17:47, 31 August 2008 (CDT)

A startled heron
cranes its neck to see your friend
hit for %dmg damage.
Confirmed that it's in-game this way. --Raijinili 18:21, 31 August 2008 (CDT)
JoseCuervo: hobo underling/bring me food and drink pronto!/Alas, snacks unknown!

um... what message when you lose to a monster?--Brion thenotgiant 19:47, 6 September 2008 (CDT)

I got one I don't see on the list when my Spice Ghost shook some spices loose.

Hey, want a spices?
Feel the greed within you rise
come to the dark side.
