I'd like to know the above myself. The item says Serious resistance to all elements, but six-rainbow shield, orange peel hat and shark jumper all say the same thing but did not resist slime damage from what my clannies and I could tell last night.--Spiny Twizzler 08:44, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, gives slime resistance. Spading done: With hat, damages observed were 6/5/6/4/5 Unequipping it gave 10/11/10/10/10 Equipping the porkpie hat to negate power/stat % gain differences gave 9/7/9/8/9 Therefore, it is safe to say that the slime gear gives actual slime resistance. • No, it doesn't. Slime resistance reduces the damage dealt to you by the effect. And the hat has no effect on that whatsoever. You seem to be conflating "duration" with "damage" (or have very low max HP). And duration is influenced by Monster Level. --Flargen 00:26, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

no im not, im talking about combat damage from slimes, denoted by a (slime) after the damage. and I just checked, it actually shows up in the profile as a slight resistance (very low) instead of a serious resistance (moderate)--Needmoney90 00:32, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
