Is this definitely not a simultaneous reference to the Liquid Metal Slimes in Dragon Quest? Notoriously hard to kill, and fits the Squenix motif from the area that you have to adventure in to unlock it (penultimate fantasy airship) --HikaruYami 17:43, 23 July 2012 (CEST)
