should this page mention how to get yellow exclaimation points announcements using you quest log?Teffania

It seems more reasonable to put it in Game Messages. Good idea, though. A quick search failed to show the Reminder being noted anywhere but this year's Trivial Updates. --Pastangum 14:00, 10 August 2008 (CDT)

Crimbo

Sang The Spirit of Crimbo between XX and 5000 times to The Crimbomination. what do you get if you sang it more than 5000 times? if no-one knows, how do they know it was 5k? --Evilkolbot 21:21, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

  • WhiskeyJack spent the most turns at 5000. Check the plaque in The Cannon Museum.--Toffile 02:45, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Split up

This page is HUGE. I think it should be split into smaller pages? Maybe at least be split up by section the way it is in-game?--Plater (t|c) 04:34, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Crimbomination

  • Just to start off with a sample point, 256 uses of Spirit of Crimbo (in one day) counted as "great lengths". --Quietust (t|c) 22:22, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
    • It may be "great lengths" for anyone who used the SoC against the Crimbomination. I don't remember spending many turns doing it on my main and I still have that line in my quest log. I can confirm that nothing appears in the quest log if you never used the SoC against the Crimbomination. That character also never even tried to do anything at all with it, so I don't know if getting clobbered by it once and then never bothering with it gives you a line in your log. --Flargen 22:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I got "You were instrumental in the defeat of The Crimbomination" with something like 3600 tSoC uses, it may be a fixed number of just everyone that ended up on the final board --Gorloth 23:02, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

A multi of mine recited the story to the Crimbomination exactly once. I got "You helped defeat The Crimbomination" My main did it somewhere between 400-600 times and got "great lengths" --Bale 08:57, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I am not sure how many times I used SoC, but I have the "great lengths" version and I got "13" presents from penguins.--Plater (t|c) 04:32, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I recited the Spirit of Crimbo something around 1200 times and received the "instrumental" message, so I suspect it is at 1000.--Keith 04:17, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

A lower bound: after approx. 142 Spirit uses throughout the Crimbo season, I still only 'helped defeat' it. --Pastangum 16:28, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Sea Monkeees

Hey, Hey, They're Sea Monkees'

  • You rescued a strange, monkey-like creature from a Neptune Flytrap. He marked the location of his sea-floor home on your map -- maybe you should go talk to him.
  • Little Brother, the Sea Monkee, has asked you to find his older brother. He says he last saw him near the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzsimmons, on the sea floor.
  • You've rescued Little Brother's big brother, Big Brother. You should go talk to him. The big brother, I mean. This is all sort of confusing.
  • You've rescued Big Brother, who has agreed to sell you some stuff as a "reward." You don't like him nearly as much as you like Little Brother. Maybe you should go talk to him, instead.

Old Nemisis Quest

I can confirm the Current bit. Maybe I should go and finish that quest now on that account. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:35, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Doing the old quest now, I'm seeing the messages reported on the page in this change. However the old quest tasks don't match up with the descriptions. First comes the fly bend, dispatch the flies and it says you've gotten past the first door. But past the flies IS the first door, which needs a cog and a sprocket. Add those and you get the first lavatory troll, but the quest log says you've got a third door. Then the quest log says a henchman needs a strong talking to, but what I really need is catsup, or perhaps ketchup. (FWIW: with one of each, the troll took the ketchup.) And now that I've reached the end, the Spaghetti Elemental has the same image, but an expanded description, same miss messages, and then an expanded end of battle message. It still dropped the same hat. start fight and end fight --Club (#66669) (Talk) 20:06, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Guilded Youth

So I started a new character to test out a few things about the toot oriole and profile, and noticed this quest is not listed on here, nor does it have an entry under completed quests.

  • [Current] Shifty wants you to lure yourself into the Sleazy Back Alley and steal your own pants.
  • [Current] Take your pants back to Shifty at the Department of Shadowy Arts and Crafts.
  • there is no entry under Completed Quests for this

Presumably, the details change class to class. I'm keeping this here while I check it out.-Foggy (talk) 18:05, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

I was looking at the list on the Quest Log page VS the list of Boss's that you can kill, which count for PVP. I want to write a script which says which Boss's you can still kill. I was looking at the PVP list, and it says Elizabeth Spookyraven. I see nothing about her on this page, so I dug a little deeper. The Lights Out Quest has the following information:

  • For defeating Elizabeth Spookyraven, you receive Elizabeth's Dollie and her paintbrush and receive this note in your Quest Log:
    Like Father Like Daughter
You found and put to rest the spirit of Elizabeth Spookyraven.
  • For defeating Stephen Spookyraven, you receive Stephen's lab coat and his secret formula and receive this note in your Quest Log:
    Like Mother Like Son
You found and put to rest the spirit of Stephen Spookyraven.

Shouldn't this information be on the Quest Log page? Or at least some reference to it? I'm wondering what else is missing. I'll start doing some research, and do my best to figure it out.-Pazsox (talk) 20:21, 14 March 2017 (EST)
