Talk:Rollover
From A KoL Wiki
The things rollover does, in order of execution, from information from the Jick show, October 6:
- Kick off all of the players
- Back up the php code
- Mark all players who either have Mr. As or got the gifts, and no-delete them. It usually works.
- Delete unactivated accounts that are a week old
- Delete 60 day old accounts
- Delete disabled accounts that haven't played in two weeks
- Check if deleting players messed up clans: delete them (ie, no leader or empty clan is left)
- Check if deleted players had mall stores: delete them
- Add 40 adventures
- Restore HP and MP based on what you have in your campsite
- Add adventures based on equipment
- Goofball withdrawal
- Reset Pastamancery/Advanced Cocktailcrafting/Advanced Saucecrafting counters as well as PvP.
- Reset clan attack, though Jick is unsure about what it does
- Delete mall purchase records for store owners (is what I gathered)
- Reset clan attack, again, I guess
- Decide whether or not it's a clover day, by flipping a "coin"
- Decide what Bounty Hunter Hunter wants
- Decide Daily special at Brewery
- Decide Daily special at restaraunt
- Set Weird leaderboards
- Add Clan calendar adventures
- Max out adventures at 200
- Update moons
- Remove money from collection endowments
- Decide cake-shaped arena house familiars
- Grow mushrooms
- Track items and economy
- Archive the item and economy log
- Set Daily Dungeon
- Back up player table, for some reason
- Generates text file for Jick to see how many players were created and how many played within the last day/week/month, and how many got deleted.
- Give oatmeal for clan army
- Delete info from store log, clan log, failed login attempts, # of logins
- Delete fight records
- Make a bunch of files for Xenophobe
- Re-auto-increment chat, for dev people
- Send unsent private messages
- Let people log in!

Isn't beaten up taken off at rollover now? I remember reading this on the front page...--Kookoo275 19:29, 19 May 2006 (CDT)
I just checked, and for some reason I don't get extra HP/MP for my pagoda or my fung shui on rollover. It could be because I'm in hardcore/oxy, or else those don't actually matter. If so, rollover article text should be changed. Other people's experiences? Holler 02:46, 18 July 2006 (CDT)
- Additional HP/MP from the Pagoda or Feng Shui only effect how much you get when you rest, not at rollover. --Shima 22:57, 20 July 2006 (CDT)
