Importance of Ruby Wax?

I fail to see how the comedian Ruby Wax has anything to do with Ruby W and I think that it should be reomoved from the references. Your thoughts?--Cjhard 00:04, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

  • Actually, both references listed are hopeful at best. Nothing FF is mentioned, it is not even a weapon, and there is no mention of a comedian or anything about her (as far as i can tell) at all. These both seem coincidence, hell the w in "ruby w" could stand for anything by that logic. For example... uh, ruby wand, which after googling ends up being a weapon in a GC game, Tales of Symphonia. Or maybe ruby wiener, oh yeah a big red one. --JRSiebz (|§|) 00:38, 9 April 2007 (CDT)
    • The following unsubstantiated references were removed:
      • Ruby W may be a reference to the Ruby Weapon enemy of Final Fantasy VII fame.
      • There is also an American comedian called Ruby Wax.

Scooby Doo Reference

If you say it out loud it sounds kind of like Scooby-Doo saying "Scooby Doobie-Doo". --MisterJiffy 00:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Where as things like "Master Debater" and "Orc Chasm" are deliberate and fairly obvious, Scooby Doo is not what comes to mind when one says "Ruby W". See Evilkolbot's post below (number 1). --CG1:t,c,e 02:44, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Ruby Woo reference

I'm sure that the Ruby W is a reference to the popular Ruby Woo line of lipstick that Mac sells. Is this close enough to mention even as a possibility on the main page? this unsigned comment was added by Parasite Poo Poo at 10:59 BST, 4 October 2007

  1. jick's not subtle in his references. if this were a reference to lipstick there would be some mention of it.
  2. sign your posts. adding text like this --~~~~ give a signature like this: --Evilkolbot 06:50, 4 October 2007 (CDT)

Drop location

Could we update this to indicate where it drops in Pandamonium? like, if you, um, sell all your W's without making the key item? (headdesk) -- acm, 20:29, 1 June 2011
