a little clarety

• it seems the addition of choice adventures in the six zones is a little haphazard. we need a way of plotting all the possible paths through the puzzle and their outcomes. there are six zones, and each has n choices, which change according to your path to this point, with a minimum of one choice. if i were coding a bot to do this i'd use a text file with each line being a choice of the form "A-B" where A is the zone number and B the choice number. this will efrectively give you a single string of thirty pairs which can identify the path to an outcome. there are rather a lot of these, though, and 80k on hanging about in a zone for thirty minutes just because is probably undesirable for most. i'd guess it's coded as "stuff you've done" rather than "inventory" items. "did you take the cigar box" and "did you stuff the canoli with bombs" rather than "do you have a cigar box" or ""do you have any bombs". so we need to find all the possible state-changing clicks, and how they interact with each zone. perhaps a list is called for? i have to go but i'll be back. --Evilkolbot (talk) 13:37, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Scoring

Just a quick note about scoring: I finished with a score of -3 on purpose (kicked the soap at the butler twice). At the ending, my score was shown to be zero, so anything below zero is "rounded up" to zero, and no special message or reward is given for having a negative score. • the trophies are now on the wiki (and i'm in hc-aosp, damn.) this seems deterministic. any chance we could have a max score spoiler for people who want a cow creamer? --Evilkolbot (talk) 13:30, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
