I find it highly unlikely that 'dire crescendo' references decrescendo, and that probably shouldn't be listed as a reference. I mean, how do you reference a musical term with another already related musical term? That's like saying 'white bread' is reference 'wheat bread' because they sound sort of similar and have some sort of connection. Do you lose the non-quest tiems here? I'm in HC and have a Crimbo Ukelele sitting in my inventory, so I'm wondering if I can use that and still hold on to it, or if I should go farm for a different guitar. --Missingno 12:14, 23 January 2007 (CST)

- Is it plausible to consider that a Reference can be a Reference to something else in Kingdom of Loathing? Because I recognize the "(Hey, have you heard my new band, Dire Crescendo?)" from making the Rewinged Stab Bat and all those messages with the "Hey, have you heard of my new band, the ____?". --IronSoldier820 17:24, 4 May 2007 (CDT)
