Talk:Time sleigh
This might just be the coolest item ever. Switching between zones? AWESOME!--SomeStranger (t|c) 22:55, 6 December 2006 (CST) Someone smash it! (I can't :( ) --Ohwaitnvm 22:59, 6 December 2006 (CST)
- It doesn't show up on my list of things to smash. I suspect this was intentional. :) --Adbax 23:07, 6 December 2006 (CST)
- I suspect, that as it is not equipment, it can't be smashed at all! Intentional indeed. --Barstool 23:08, 6 December 2006 (CST)
Is it a one time use item?--Richardstone15 23:14, 6 December 2006 (CST)
- Nope! Doesn't cost an adventure, either.--Adbax 23:16, 6 December 2006 (CST)
Wondder if this item is gonna vanish from my display case once Crimbo is over..--Esko 23:17, 6 December 2006 (CST)
I wonder if this fixes the glitch of the Crimbo zones not appearing directly after ascension? --Risrepkel 23:19, 6 December 2006 (CST)
Reference?
Isn't "flux capacitor" a reference to Back to the Future?--Cyferpunk 01:32, 7 December 2006 (CST)
- I bet it goes 88 MPH too. ;-) --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 01:35, 7 December 2006 (CST)
- One wonders what would happen if it was meatpasted with a 1.21 jigawatts! Well, actually, I'm sure nothing would happen, because it's almost certainly already got 'em. Alas! --Id the Mildly Confused 01:47, 7 December 2006 (CST)
Gull wing doors: The Deloreon used as the time machine in Back to the Future has gull wing doors.--Nolageek 02:34, 7 December 2006 (CST)
I hope this is not a reference to FFX-2, because that game is gay. Scott Thompson gay. GAAAAAAAY. --DataVortex 02:53, 7 December 2006 (CST)
- I think it's pretty safe to say that this is a reference to the Delorean, seeing as it was the car used to create the time machine in Back to the Future and the technical term used to describe the style of door featured on the Delorean is in fact "gull-winged." Now if it had says something about the unilateral recursive effects of the craft causing a lot of pain I might argue that it was an FFX2 reference, but as is it is almost certainly not, especially since the Gullwings in FFX2 were named after Yuna's new hairstyle... --MrPaulie 09:34, 7 December 2006 (CST)
Quest Item?
Wiki page has "Quest" for part of the item, I was under the impression quest items cannot go into Display case? Also missing from the game text, anybody?--Esko 01:50, 7 December 2006 (CST)
- Yeah, you're right. I was updating several items from the quest and I guess I got a little carried away. Someone has already changed it though. Oh, and for the record, quest items can be put in display cases if they are put there before they were flagged as such (or put there well before ascension rolled out) --TheDotGamer 02:40, 7 December 2006 (CST)
