Part I; Birth

I first played Kingdom of Loathing in 2004, back in the days before Ascensions were implemented. Initially thoroughly enjoying, I was hooked, the ideas and mechanics behind KoL, not to mention the humor, unlike anything I had previously encountered.

Sadly, the world of power-stating became less and less appealing, and after months of grinding in the Clan gym (For those that don't remember or know, the Clan gym was once the best place for stat gains per level. They were ridiculous.) I finally stopped playing, later to learn that Ascension was rolled out some three weeks later.

Part II; Alzheimer's

My triumphant return to the Kingdom occurred in June of 2005. Those of you learned in KoL history know exactly where this is going. Three and a half months of fun filled ascending-ness later, the KoL servers had a bout of Alzheimer's. Nowadays, it is referred to as White Wednesday. That was a fiasco in itself, so any story of mine relating to that period is immaterial. Temporal Rift diving did have its perks, but then came the 'Great Anti-Depressant'. When everyone was given a Petrified Time in memoriam of White Wednesday, I hastily smithed mine into a Time Sword. Whee! Others, however, thought before they acted. Petrified Time flooded the Mall with prices fluctuating at the time between 1,500,000 and 2,500,000 meat. The deities of the Kingdom split their meat hoards, buying up as much as they could and cramming them into their cases, making more than three-quarters of the Kingdom's populous millionaires. Mall prices adapted accordingly, and armed with a Time Sword and an empty pocket, it wasn't long before I left the Kingdom once more in frustration.

Part III; The Meaning Of Life

The current Chugsworth, unofficially Chugsworth III, entered the Kingdom on May 23, 2007. Since then, I have been delving into the new content and trying to optimize myself was as many Permed Passives as I can. Jahoejaba and Hunsley spend their time grinding for meat and Ultra-Rares. That's right, dear reader, the meaning of life is to grind for meat and Ultra-Rares. Now go; proclaim it to the world!
