Spading Projects
- I'm taking some time before starting a caustic nodule run on my main...anything you'd like some assistance with spading?--Foggy 18:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've mostly been tackling small-scale projects lately (shoring up consumable ranges, damage formulas, etc), so I can't think of anything in specific. Thanks for the offer, though! -TechSmurf 19:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Item Source Compacting
Read about this today in the discussion page and I would like to help, since it looks like it would take forever to do by yourself. I can start at the end or something. --Suikoman444 02:17, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, sure, help's always appreciated. I'm covering 1-99 for now, but you can pick up anywhere else you want. Thanks! --TechSmurf 02:37, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah, and feel free to mark off where you are on the chart on my user page. --TechSmurf 02:38, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I just finished most of the 900 range. With the exception of the majority of the tiny plastic series 1 (I'd hope we can get a bot to run through), here are the ones I skipped that might need review.
custom items:916, 928, 929; Mafia-related: 922, 927; Crimbo: 941, 951;Explosion only: 956, 957, 958-Toffile 04:33, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Finished the 3400s, for Halloween items that I ran across, I've been listing the actual adventure it's located in with a note in parentheses about the outfit, if anyone wants to follow that. --Suikoman444 06:16, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Done for the night, finished the 3300s and did all the items deleted from the database, but not able to confirm an adventure for the Gnollish nunchaku or superolive. Also did a few items that dropped in retired adventures in the palindome and spooky forest so that the adventures wouldn't be forgotten. --Suikoman444 09:23, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I might be able to chip in some time this weekend as well. --Shoptroll 15:05, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, the more, the merrier. Also, the more, the less likely CG1 will turn into an automaton. --TechSmurf 15:09, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- I just finished up 1200-1299 but I noticed off-hand balloon as I was flipping through and didn't know how to deal with it.--SomeStranger (t|c) 17:04, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
I was just going through some or the Mr. Store items, and I noticed that some of them have "Mr. Accessory" as a link and some of them don't. I don't know which way you want it, so I didn't mess with them. Thought you might want to know.--Alabit 01:47, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Preferably, link whatever you can. --TechSmurf 02:07, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Went through and made Mr. A a link for every Mr. Store item. --Alabit 07:42, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
I think I got everything, except adding the goodies basket to the oyster eggs and the item drop for the dusty bones. There are a couple pieces of missing information if we want them noted somewhere or if anyone knows what they are.
Superolive (missing adventure in the Palindome)
Gnollish Nunchaku (missing adventure in Degrassi Knoll)
gasmask (missing adventure in the Daily Dungeon)
pail (missing old zone + adventure)
demonskin trousers (missing adventure in the Daily Dungeon)
dungeoneer's dungarees (missing adventure in the Daily Dungeon)
--Suikoman444 11:31, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, awesome. You were busy. Thanks! --TechSmurf 16:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, nice work. I never did find time to help over the weekend. I am ashamed :( --Shoptroll 16:42, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Finished the oyster eggs and dusty bones, so we should be done, except for maybe one thing here and there that was missed. --Suikoman444 16:47, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
In regards to the wad/nuggets/powder "Obtained From" section, that's...yikes. It'll need monitoring nearly every time an item is added. That kind of thing made my eyes go into a blank stare and reorganize a chart I was working on. --Sparksol 01:17, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Standards question
I'm not to sure if it was ever brought up, but is there any standard on removing categories from deprecated items? I was looking through stuff like superolive, which is still in the food category, despite being no longer in the game. Was there any discussion on this that I may have missed in the past?--Toffile 19:54, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Lord Spookyraven
Are you sure his attacks aren't scaled to your current HP? I could swear I remember fighting him as DB once, trying to plink him to death. He hit hard on the first hit, as usual, then started hitting pretty weakly. But then I used a red pixel potion to get some HP back, as I was going to die on his next hit, and he hit me really hard again; enough this time to drop me to 0 HP. --Flargen 09:26, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Fairly certain. I just leveled up a DB high enough to test it. Level 12 DB, no elemental resistance, chugging RPPs every turn, 135 moxie, 85 HP...
- Round 1: 79 (spooky damage)
- 31 (hot damage)
- 30 (sleaze damage)
- 27 (hot damage)
- Fumble
- 27 MP Drain
- 30 (spooky damage)
- 29 (hot damage)
- 29 (hot damage)
- And another go, same stats:
- 86 (sleaze damage)
- Number three:
- 81 (hot damage)
- 30 (spooky damage)
- 30 (spooky damage)
- heal
- 28 MP Drain
- heal
- 27 (sleaze damage)
- 50 (stench damage)
- 8 (hot damage)
- 32 (spooky damage)
- 28 (hot damage)
- 11 (cold damage)
- 30 (spooky damage)
- 28 (hot damage)
- 30 physical
- 29 (spooky damage)
- heal
- 21 MP drain
- heal
- 30 (sleaze damage)
- 31 (spooky damage)
- 32 (spooky damage)
...Which does raise a question about his stench, cold, and one of his hot attacks, but it shows that only the initial hit is the big one. --TechSmurf 18:56, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey
When I was surveying the overflowing NeedsX categories, I found this that you were working on. What ever happened? :P --Toffile 03:09, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's, ahem, a work in progress. Yeah. --TechSmurf 03:19, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
In regards to the various Discoveries pages, yes, that is a scary amount of work. I was still going over the cooking page, and have works in progress for meatsmithing and cocktailcrafting, they should be up tomorrow sometime. Congratulations on getting that done, and you can see why it's taking me some time to finish them all. (Especially that meatsmithing page...over 200 friggin' recipes, man!) --Sparksol (t|c) 11:43, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Paper Strips
Thanks. I was going to fool around once everything got logged. Also can you take a look at [1]? He's renaming images and I have no idea where some of them came from.--Toffile 04:42, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- You're welcome and thanks! --TechSmurf 05:08, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it did used to say that. --Flargen 20:38, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
