Cooking is the fine art of making food out of ingredients. Some recipes produce edible food, others only produce ingredients that require further cooking. Those who have learned Advanced Saucecrafting can use cooking to make potions out of scrumptious reagents.
Cooking requires an E-Z Cook Oven™ in your inventory or either a Chef-in-the-box or a Clockwork Chef-in-the-box at your campsite, any of which will reveal the cook stuff link in your inventory. An E-Z Cook Oven™ allows you to cook one recipe at the cost of one adventure, while a boxed chef allows you to cook for zero adventures. However, after a certain number of uses your chef will explode, providing you with a random assortment of its component parts and food items—including some food that cannot be gotten by any other means.
