Template:FEATURE Elements

There are five main Elements in the Kingdom of Loathing: hot, cold, stench, spookiness, and sleaze. Various creatures are aligned to different elements; if you prepare correctly, you can exploit their weaknesses and build up resistance to their attacks using various items and spells. In addition, there are five gravy fairy familiars aligned to a particular element. There are two other, more mysterious elements which do not fit with the others: Bad Spelling and Shadow. Creatures which deal Bad Spelling damage are vulnerable to the use of a dictionary, while Shadow damage is dealt by your Shadow and cannot be resisted. Learn more at Elements.
