Your weapon has been corroded by acid, and doesn't do as much damage. Unluckily for you, if you switch weapons, the corrosion moves to your new weapon! Lucky for you, it'll wear off after a little while.

Obtained by fighting the acid blob in the Dungeons of Doom.
