cyber-mattock
This is the most advanced pick axe that 25th-century technology can muster. It's got a screen you can touch, a blue tooth hanging off the bottom, and solid-state ramming capability. The only downside is that it runs on batteries, and with all the bells and whistles, it doesn't run very long on a charge.

You make a pinching motion on the mattock's touchscreen, then make a slashing motion with the whole mattock, doing X damage. WHAMMO! KAPOW! WHAMMO!
You use the blue tooth on your cyber-mattock to scratch it for X damage. SOCKO! KERBLAM! SOCKO!
You slide your finger down the cyber-mattock to unlock it, then smash it into its skull to do X damage. SMACK! WHAMMO! BARF!
Notes
- May disappear in combat, leaving you bare-handed and displaying the following message:
- You try to unlock your cyber-mattock, but the battery's dead. Since the charger won't be invented for several hundred years, you chuck the useless hunk of plastic as far from you as you can.
