This is a 3-ball, a blood-red sphere. If somebody got cut in zero gravity, their blood would probably form blood-red spheres. Unless they were also in a vacuum, in which case they'd be either blood-red or blood-blue spheres. Anyway, that's kind of a creepy thing to think about.

- This item (along with most other pool balls) received a buff sometime before May 16, 2014, probably on May 14, 2014 with the Spookyraven Manor revamp. This item used to autosell for 35 meat, had no equip requirement, and only gave +5 Spooky Damage and +5 Damage to Spooky Spells.
References
- The section about blood in a vacuum forming a blue sphere refers to the common misconception that deoxygenated blood is blue in color when in fact it is a deeper hue of red. That said mollusks and some anthropods have blue blood.
